This is my second visit to this Korean restaurant in Sendai! I had a hard time deciding but I'm glad I went for the puyo set meal. The portions are huge 🍚! Next time I want to try Sundubu!

An artist on a plate! The pairings are perfect and highly recommended. For 7,500 yen, this is a great value for money. The customer service is also impeccable. Highly recommended for an anniversary. Korean restaurant located in the basement of the power building. 🇰🇷 I went there after 1:00 on a weekday, but there were many customers coming and going, so it seems to be a popular restaurant. They have a wide variety of set menus, and after some hesitation, I decided to go for the stone-grilled bibimbap. It was very delicious. I was happy because I like spicy food and I could put as much gochijang (spicy Korean red pepper paste) on it as I wanted. The price is reasonable at 850 yen and I would like to go back and try Sundubu next time 🤔🤔.

They welcomed me without making a face even though I went alone! There was a menu with portions for one person, and it was very comfortable. The sake and sashimi were delicious, and it was a place I wanted to visit again.

This year I traveled alone to Sendai and ate beef tongue tataki for the first time! I was there for the beef tongue 😋. I went there for the beef tongue, but when I saw the menu, I ordered this one first! I was calling out how delicious it was, all by myself (lol)! It's not often you see such a rare dish, but when I go to Sendai again, I'm going to try this one. Oh, and I also enjoyed the beef tongue afterwards! I'll never forget it 😋. By the way, according to Sendai locals, it is a good person who chooses Kaku on his first visit to the city (lol). Well, anyway, I was satisfied 😆.

I visited the restaurant at 6:00 p.m. with one person. It was recommended to me by an acquaintance in Sendai, and I made a reservation a week before. The restaurant has a counter for 10 people and table seating. The staff at the restaurant, who greeted us from behind the counter, were all friendly and courteous. The drink lineup is unique, which is fun to see. Sake and wine are also well represented. The moment I picked up the starter of oni-oroshi (grated radish) and pickles with my thin chopsticks, my confidence in the restaurant grew, and all I could do was devour the carefully grilled skewers. Even the chicken soup ramen at the end was seamlessly delicious. When the restaurant was full, the operation sometimes seemed to slow down a bit, such as when refills were needed, but the entire experience was pleasant and tasty from start to finish.
