I went there to have a Tamatebako lunch. Especially, the tofu with purple sweet potato is like Japanese sweets, and the tofu with sweet bean paste has a very Japanese flavor. The tofu dengaku is seasoned with miso and sansho (Japanese pepper) and is a great accompaniment to rice. Other dishes such as "ganmono" and "sweet potato and green bean dumplings" were also very gently seasoned, and even though I was quite full, they did not upset my stomach and left me feeling refreshed and full.
The after-dinner dessert of sihuong cake (the type of cake may change each time) was melt-in-your-mouth delightful.
Although it is an extra charge, I highly recommend you to have it with a cup of "tea". The tea will surely enhance the exquisite sweetness and tenderness of the dish.
