We compared the Kyomizu Eel and the Kami-Unaju. The top eel was tasty enough, but the Kyosui Eel had firmer flesh and did not have a bad smell.

Sea urchin is incredibly delicious. I appreciate that the dishes are served at just the right timing from the counter where the kitchen is visible. A dish combining soy milk tofu with shrimp sauce is smooth, and the fried Mexican smelt and persimmon leave a lasting impression. The combination of mochi and karasumi, as well as the piping hot chawanmushi and clay pot rice, are also very delicious. In this quiet space, the staff responds kindly to questions, providing a sense of reassurance, and the drinks pair well, making for a comfortable time.

It was a happy space where I could choose cute plates and pots 🫖🍰. All the cakes were also adorable ⭐︎✴︎. There were many younger female customers, including Lolitas and punk-style ladies, which was a treat for the eyes 🧝🏻‍♀️✨. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the staff's friendliness wasn't very good, the pots were a bit sticky, and the cakes and tea prioritized appearance over taste, which was somewhat lacking. I understand that it's a popular place, so it's difficult for them to attend to each person carefully because they are busy, so it doesn't bother me too much 😺. I just wanted to make sure I wrote this down so that the complaint lady doesn't come to life‼️ Since I was seated right away, it's best to make a reservation‼️
