The 20 Best Crab Restaurants in Seoul

I had the pleasure of dining at this small, casual neighborhood restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of my trip. Though it’s a humble spot, it’s Michelin-rated for a reason — the raw marinated crab (ganjang gejang) was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. As soon as we sat down, the food arrived promptly, and we were instantly made to feel at home. The owner was genuinely kind and attentive, going out of his way to show us how to eat the crab since it was our first time trying it. That extra effort made the experience even more special. The banchan (side dishes) were plentiful and delicious — and what really stood out was how they were refilled continuously without us needing to ask. The service felt warm, generous, and totally unpretentious. If you’re looking for an authentic, heartwarming, and delicious Korean dining experience, this is a must-visit. The food speaks for itself, but the hospitality is what truly makes this place exceptional. Highly recommend — 10/10. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The crabs were exceptionally fresh and tasty. The dining area is clean and cozy. Definitely worth recommending!
