As I climbed the spiral staircase and opened the door, a quiet space filled with the warmth of wood unfolded before me. From the counter seats, I could closely observe the chef at work, and just that live experience was exciting. The dish featuring locally sourced chicken and black pork from Kagoshima was fragrant, and I couldn't help but keep eating. The fluffy dashi omelet and large broad beans were also delightful, showing no signs of shortcuts in the appetizers. The fried chicken, full of flavor, was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making it seem like I could enjoy as many as I wanted. I spent a relaxing time savoring rare sake at the quiet counter, feeling at ease throughout.
