The small wagashi salon on the third floor of the building has a calm atmosphere and is very comfortable. Sitting at the counter, I get excited as the craftsman finishes the desserts right in front of me. The seasonal chestnut Mont Blanc has a rich chestnut flavor and a smooth depth, with a delightful fluffy meringue texture. The colorful namagashi has just the right amount of sweetness, and it pairs even better with green tea. The pleasant aroma wafting during the tea preparation adds to the experience, allowing me to fully enjoy a luxurious tea time. There are also takeout options like yokan terrine, which is great because I can enjoy it at home too.
