The birthplace of omelette rice I went to the restaurant where omelette rice originated! It is the type of restaurant that is listed in many foreigner's guidebooks! The restaurant is very spacious! It's so big that it looks like a Japanese inn! It's so spacious that it looks like a ryokan (Japanese inn)! There is a courtyard and other stylish things. The omu-rice is not modern, but Showa-style. I mean it's not a tender omelet. It is an orthodox omu-rice! The taste is good, and you can think, "This is the origin of omu-rice! This is the origin of omelette rice! However, I can't deny that it is too much of a tourist attraction. I can't deny the feeling that it is too touristy. I feel the atmosphere is a little unscripted.

The cream croquette is a thick type. Where is the crab? The omelette was divided into three kinds. Spinach and bacon omelet 850 yen Hayashi omelette rice: 1,050 yen Rice omelet 690 yen There is nothing special about any of these dishes! There is nothing special about them. But they all have a nostalgic and comforting taste. I'm used to eating modern omu-rice, but sometimes it's nice to have the taste of a long-established restaurant. 2010,08 Visited at around 8 p.m. on Saturday. The place was packed with customers, but I was able to get in smoothly. It's not a complicated place... I got lost! I don't often get lost on the way... Omelette Rice I was looking for a restaurant in the Shinsaibashi area when I was rejected by the restaurant I wanted to go to. Is it the birthplace of omelette rice? Western food with a Japanese appearance? I was too curious (^o^)Here we go! The interior of the restaurant, of course, is pure Japanese style. The tatami room with a courtyard looks like it could be a soba noodle restaurant, but when you open the menu, you will find a lot of horizontal characters. The gap between the two is irresistible. I ordered the most popular dish, a simple omu-rice. The eggs are thinly cooked. The thinness and hardness of the egg were so ideal for me that I was enchanted every time I scooped it with a spoon (suspicious). Chicken rice is like fried rice. I really like the size of the chicken and the ratio of meat, rice, and onions. The sourness of the sauce also goes well with the rice. This is delicious! It is a different type from the one with ketchup. No wonder it is served with ginger. My concept of omelette rice has changed a bit. I'm glad I was dumped at the restaurant I was planning to go to lol. I feel like I'll never forget it because of the type of look and taste, so I'll come back~.
