On July 1, 2022, a new Letter Company store opened in Asama Onsen, a hot spring resort about 20 minutes by car from downtown Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture.We named the store "Letter House Fubako" because of its location next to the Asama Onsen post office, its focus on paper goods, and the fact that it is operated by Letter Company.

I was torn between cake and tart, but I was told that I could enjoy both for an additional fee, so we shared a seasonal sweets plate for two. Not only was it visually stunning, but I was also very satisfied with its deliciousness. Perhaps it’s because they are carefully handmade with a focus on quality ingredients? Even after eating, I felt full but not heavy in my stomach; instead, my stomach felt refreshed. It was a very happy time. I have visited the Shibasaki and Tsutsujigaoka branches of Tegamiya, but I like this calm and spacious atmosphere the most. Thank you for the meal.

Le, pudding à la mode ! Le goût de ce pudding fait maison, sa texture, c'était vraiment délicieux ! Si je devais être exigeant, j'aurais aimé que le pudding soit un peu plus gros et que la glace ne soit pas de type sorbet, mais de la crème glacée, ce serait parfait. Mais c'est juste mon avis. Merci pour ce festin 😋

The pumpkin pudding was delicious♪ As I was looking at each one slowly, surprisingly a lot of time had passed. There were product samples, and I was able to see the designs of items like notepads in person, which became a reason for my purchase.

It has a classical and calm atmosphere, making it a very comfortable place to be. I have visited several times, and the food is always delicious, surrounded by cute miscellaneous goods, and the staff is kind with pleasant service. It's a space I love.

The atmosphere of the shop and the service from the staff were good. I had the popular pudding à la mode. The sweet potato-flavored ice cream (the texture was dry) had a freezer-burnt taste, which was disappointing. The pudding was dense and firm, and it was very delicious.
