Shaved ice in the aroma of curry I saw a picture of the lovely shaved ice on instagram and I want to go there so bad! But the place is in the Suminoe area. I don't really have any plans for this area, even though it's within Osaka City! On a free afternoon, I decided to go there on a whim. It was another hot and humid day. It's a 10-minute walk from the station... Is there any way to get there cooler? I can take a bus to the nearest station. 1 minute walk from the bus stop, Mr. Morimorisha It is a bit surprising to find a cafe along such a main street! It was a little past 3pm when we visited, perhaps because this store was featured in a shaved ice special in SAVVY. The place was almost full of customers! We were lucky to get in just in time to see a few people leaving! The moment you enter the restaurant, you can smell the spicy aroma of curry! No, no...I came here to eat shaved ice! The shaved ice menu is Kiwi 680 yen Lemon 680 yen Lemon Basil & Mint 750 yen Sweet summer 680 yen Umeshu (plum wine) 650 yen Watermelon 800 yen Peach 750 yen Domestic Orange 700 yen It's hard to decide which one to choose! After much deliberation, I chose the summery watermelon! After a while, watermelon ice appeared! Beautiful red wine-colored watermelon ice with rum raisin seeds! The bowl is handmade in green to resemble watermelon rind. They also make ceramics! The ice is a little rough, but not sharp. The syrup is made with organic wine and lemon. There is alcohol in it, but you don't feel it at all! The astringency of the wine and the acidity of the lemon made it refreshing! Some of the raisins were cold and hard, but that's a bonus! Since the sun shines on the counter, they melted quickly and turned into juice at the end! In that case, a straw is a must! You can get one if you ask the waiter! There was something else I wanted to try... It's kind of a waste or frustrating that I have to leave with just one! I wish there was one nearby so I could go there more often! The curry for lunch also smelled really good, so I'm curious to try it! If you have another chance? If I have the chance to make it? I would like to come back to eat!
