Upon entering the restaurant, the soft lighting and the aroma of simmering dashi immediately put me at ease. The friendly staff recommended a rich sake that greatly enhanced the flavors of the side dishes. The fluffy, grilled dashi omelet was moist, with a gentle sweetness that left a strong impression. The tempura being fried just across the counter had a light batter, and the texture of each mushroom was delightful. The soba noodles served at the end had a smooth texture and a firm bite, pairing well with the sharp dipping sauce. The seating is compact but has a calming atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to enjoy food and drinks at a leisurely pace.
