The owner, Mr. Uchima, makes the most of Okinawan ingredients in his cuisine. He places importance on local production for local consumption, and his menu features many fresh Okinawan vegetables. The name "Takuyoshi" comes from the joint name of the restaurant with his wife, and the couple works together to run the restaurant.
