This is a cozy little shop located right next to Shin-Torihara Station, and I felt a relaxed atmosphere the moment I walked in. The L-shaped table seats and the raised tatami area are neatly arranged, making it comfortable even for solo diners. On this day, I chose sautéed pork tenderloin and fried swordfish, and the combination of the rich demi-glace sauce and homemade tartar sauce was excellent. The tender pork tenderloin paired perfectly with the subtly fragrant butter and the mild acidity of the sauce. The miso soup, homemade pickles, and simmered beans were all carefully prepared, providing a satisfying meal. Thanks to the warm service from the family running the place, I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably until the end.
