It's right by the station, and the retro atmosphere is pleasant as soon as you walk in. The staff are cheerful, and it's nice to start with a cabbage appetizer. The fried items have a light, thin batter and the hot asparagus pairs perfectly with the mayonnaise. The lotus root, pickled ginger, sausages, and even bananas dipped in chocolate all leave a lasting impression. The sauce is applied only once, and its rich flavor clings well to the ingredients. You can also enjoy a highball where you can test your luck with dice, plump stir-fried offal, and salted boiled peanuts, making it easy to linger longer than intended.
