Kakiage-don, a bowl of rice topped with shaved tempura, the best in the city! This old store is located right in front of Ichitora, which is famous for its omelette rice. But it seems to be a restaurant where you can usually get in for lunch (; ・`д・´), but at night it's hard to get a reservation...so it's not recommended for first-time customers ( థ公థ.) It's extremely popular. The restaurant opens at 11:30 but closes at 13:00, so lunch time is short. The owner poured hot tea for me when I entered the restaurant ( ✧Д✧) ☆☆☆☆☆! ▪️ Kakiage-tendon (tempura bowl) 900 yen The restaurant is small...most of the counter is filled with pickles, tea, etc. (థ公థ...) The proprietress takes out the pickles, and carefully and silently puts them on a small plate. The sound of the pickles can be heard quietly in the restaurant... and then the nameko mushroom soup appears. Finally...the bowl of rice arrived! What is this number of prawns? Even though it's called kakiage, the koromo is thin and not at all greasy (✧Д✧) Kak! The sauce is also rather light in flavor, and the aroma of the shrimp and garland chrysanthemum is very close. Wait a minute... at 900 yen for this... you'd be tempted to compare it to Mitsumura's kakiage-don (1300 yen). But this is... Yes, yes, yes! The size of the prawns, the light fried texture... if you include the cost... maybe... it's even better than "Mitsumura"? It's been a while since I had a very satisfying lunch (థ公థ.) I'd like to find someone who is a regular at night and visit this restaurant (๑-̀ㅂ-́)و✧Thank you for the meal!
